We’re looking for highly motivated Software Engineer (Database) who are passionate about the art and science of software development, possess a strong can-do attitude, and want to be part of a world-class team with a passion for excellence. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a loosely structured organization and be capable of working on a number of assignments in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Write well structured, testable, efficient, reusable, maintainable and scalable SQL queries and database programs.
• Work with global teams in product development
• Support project implementations on need basis
• Stay up-to-date with software technologies and methodologies
• Participate and contribute to SaaS product design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in database development, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
• Good understanding of software architecture, programming practices
• Proficiency in working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of database design principles.
• Strong experience in performance tuning of SQL queries and optimization techniques
• Experience with SAP HANA Database is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques to design efficient and normalized database schemas.
• Experience with Identity Access Management, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) is a plus.
• Exposure to SAP ERP and/or Oracle EBS is a huge plus.
• Working knowledge of Java ORM technologies like JPA or Hibernate is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP and/or Azure is a plus.
