As we are expanding further, NextLabs® (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd a MSC Status company are looking for dedicated Software Architect Lead to join our big family. You will be responsible for overall Software Development in line with NextLabs global engineering development methodologies, lead the engineering team and deliver best in class architecture, solution and coding.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for software engineering, software architecture, security, testing and API best practices
• Growing and managing the high performance engineering team
• Providing mentorship to the team on a daily basis
• Set up engineering processes and ensure that team follow through the processes
• Developing products and related components in collaboration with product management and global engineering teams
• Coordinating with other technical teams in Asia-Pacific and US to ensure compatibility with other components and deliver as an integrated solution

Required Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in core Java applications & coding with at least 1 year of team management experience
• Knowledge with Enterprise or Cloud applications involving full-stack technologies and cloud platforms like AWS / Azure
• Understanding of database concepts, engineering and operations
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Strong experience working with remote teams on collaborating towards a common goal
• Self-starting and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passionate, proactive, great team player
